These Codes help to descride the motor and it's features. It
DOES NOT have anything to do with the Running.
ALL MOTORS LISTED HAVE BEEN DYNO TESTED
and are in Good Running Condition.

First Letter: CSPNWYss
Describes Overall COSMETIC condition. A,B,C, and D.
A: "Like New" Motors are rarely more than 2 or 3 years old.
B: "Very Clean" but used. Needs little clean up. Looks Good.
C: "Average" Clearly used. Needs some paint work.
D: "Below Average" Needs alot of clean up and paint.

Second Letter: CSPNWYss
Desribes "Shaft Length". S is Short, L is Long, X is Extra Long.
Short is Basically the Standard Motor for a Transom Mount.
Long is Basically for Larger Boats (21'-up), or Bracket Mount.
Extra Long is 30" and in most cases is the Center Motor of 3.


Third Letter: CSPNWY
Describes Horsepower Rating. P is Propshaft, C is Crankshaft.
Fourth Letter: CSPNWYss
Describes Trim System: Y is Yes, N is No.
Fifth Letter: CSPNWYss
Describes Warranty: W is Warranty, F is Full Warranty.
Sixth Letter: CSPNWYss
Describes Prop: Y is Yes, N is No, ss is Stainless Steel. If a motor comes in with a prop on it, it is sold with a prop.

REMEMBER: a prop matches the boat/motor package. If a motor comes with a prop, it may not be the correct one for your boat.
