Thinks I Remember
My Friends say I Live in the Past because I Collect Old Outboard Motors,  Magazines, Tractors, Motorcycles, you name it, if it's old, it's probably "Cool" with me. These are just a few things that come to mind when I Think about the Past, as I do all the time. Sorry, I had fun growing up....
Alot of things bring back great memories. Do you remember any of these?

The pump had a knob that you set to the octane you wanted,
each click gave you more "Super Concentrate"
TV Tube Testers: 7-11, who got thier name from being open "7 to11",
had a machine that you could "Plug" a TV Tube into and it
would tell you if the Tube was "Good" or "Bad".
You had to Look up the Number, Put it in the Correct Socket, Turn a Couple of Knobs to the Correct Setting, and Press "TEST"

"Hot to Go": Same 7-11, First Microwave Oven I ever saw. Beef and Chicken
Meat Pies. Not too good, but Fast.......

Gasoline for 20 cents:  I remember my mom giving me a Quarter and telling
me to ride my bicycle to the PURE station and filling up the
1 Gallon gas can, for our lawn mower, and getting a Nickel Change....

Charging Phone Calls to your Home Phone: All you had to do was dial "O", tell the operator that you wanted to charge the call to
your home phone and give her your home phone number.
(Yes "Her", there where no male operators)
